Default rattling noise..

Ok so I got an 06 gto and I replaced the lifters with new ls7 lifters new valve springs and pushrods. At 2200rpm I get this rattle sound...what else can make those noises. e

You didn't give us much background information (like why you swapped lifters out), but a couple idea's are detonation or bent pushrods. If it only rattles at 2200rpm I doubt it's bent pushrods.

Stock tune?

I installed a new megadeath cam and I wanted new lifters. Cam has since been pulled and a stock ls2 cam was reinstalled. Not a stock tune, tune is set for a megadeath cam. Pushrods are new and straight, wires are new too. Could there be too much timing in the megadeath tune causing detination issues? it really sounds like a lifter rattling, and actually it starts around 2200rpm and will go to the top....

Can you post a video or sound clip of the noise? Its possible that it could have too much timing, but that would usually come from the side of block. Have you double checked everything valvetrain related? What is your oil pressure like when this starts to happen?

i will try to get a sound clip. Yes i have changed lifters twice, valve springs 3 times and 3 different sets of pushrods. I also when heads where off i marked and checked each valve. everything is new or used but still good. i dont know what it is, i dont have an oil pressure gauge on it, like the fbody's do. I will have to get one and install it.
