Default 6.0 vs 6.2 LS3

I am going to start piecing together an LS engine for my c4 corvette. I want to run Ls3 or L92 heads so an LS2 or LS3 block are needed. I am sticking with Aluminum for weight savings.

What are the benefits of the 6.2 over 6.0 besides displacement?

Is one block stronger than the other?

This will be used to autox and maybe roadracing. I currently have 3.07 rear gear so revving wont be to high in autox. I rarely get out of 2nd in my 700r4

Nothing really, the 6.2L just has a .060" larger bore.

So building a ls2 with l92 heads would be ok? No shrouding?

There is some shrouding of the exhaust valve, does it hurt performance, maybe some.
