Default LSX nitrous piston

Heres a Diamond piston we custom spec'd for plenty of nitrous. LSX tall deck block.
Minus any coating or anodizing its tough as you can make them.

Very nice piece! Looks like plenty of support around the wristpin area!

For this application we normally use a .043" 1st/2nd ring

this will be driven on the street, went with 1.5,1.5,3.0

thanks for the time

_
498 grams piston / 122 grams pin

4.250" stroke
6.300" rod
1.250" CH

GRP aluminum rods.

Glad I was able to see the pistons before ordering rods,
changed dimension on the small end of the rod slightly.

Nice.

Are the valves small? or do they not sink into the piston lot?
All of our flat top pistons always have the valve relief into the edge of the piston which sucks for nitrous as I'm sure you know.

2.125"/1.60" valves

I'd rather have to cut the reliefs then have too much valve relief for no apparent reason, that mentality doesn't work for everyones budget. Theirs plenty of material in those pistons, we should be fine though on clearance, I'll let you know how it goes.

Is there an oiling hole on the big end of the rod cap?

I think you're looking at the dowel pin?
