Build Date on Heads Is there any way of determining the build date on 243 heads and what model they came off from specifically?
And without the springs and valves how do you know if their from an LS6 or LS2(GTO)?

After digging some more I found that on the bottom it's stamped 04 which I think is the manufactured date made for LS2 05 GTO's.
Srry if it's a dumb question but these heads had dual springs so I couldn't tell ls6 or ls2. This is my first LS build and I wanted to make sure the seller who sold me these heads were indeed from an 2005 GTO as said.
