Default Center Counterweighted Crankshaft

Take a look at our latest crankshaft! This is our Ultra Billet crankshaft. These can be made in any stroke and rod journal configuration! This crankshaft has our latest mirror finish upgrade on the counterweights that costs an additional $350. This finish can be put on any crankshaft we sell too.

Have Fun Drooling! Any questions just fire away I will try to keep up and provide answer asap!

Where does this crank rate in relation to the compstar, dragonslayer, etc? How much does it cost? What advantages does it offer over you current cranks?

This is the best of the best. It is a Billet crankshaft so cost would be right around $3300 - 3500 Retail fully balanced. The biggest advantage it offers are the center counterweights. These stabalize the crankshaft and help prevent it from flexing under extreme loads like heavy boost etc. The majority of the cranks we have made thus far like this are going into 1800 +HP motors but some have been made for long strokes to go into the RHS / LSX tall deck blocks. The center counterweights are machined and profiled to accomodate the beefed up main webbing the RHS Block offers on the #3 main.

The mirror finish is an option that Nextel cup guys have been doing for years to keep the oil off the counterweights. I will post some more pics. soon workiing on that right now.

It depends on what stroke you are looking for honestly. I will tell you this we are trying to predict and cover the most popular strokes. If it is something we do not have waiting for a bob weight right now we will be looking at 10-12 weeks as a rule of thumb. We sometimes are quicker but on an average right around there for a time frame

Thumbs up

Looks very very nice. The polished CCW crank looks like it should be in a glass case in a jewelery shop or museum of art! I can't wait to get mine!!!!!

I'm assuming this is Brook posting from Callies??? Here are some more pictures of the same type of Ultra Billet Center Counterweight Crank. Correct me if I'm wrong and its not, but here are pictures of the 4.450" crank you made for me. I just got these pictures from Kurt yesterday and it sure looks nice.

On another note how's my 4.250" stroke coming along? Hope we get it sooner than later. Thanks.

If anyone is looking for a 4.450" stroke billet Center Counterweight Crank PM me and you won't have to wait.

We are just starting another group of them. Unfortunately that means 8 weeks before they are done.

I will take some pics tomorrow but these cranks do look almost computer generated. The 4.000 one I just got looks incredible. I have several billet CCW cranks so I might do a comparison but the Callies CCW is the prettiest by far. The Sonny Bryant has bigger center counter weights but they don't fit the blocks so that's not a fun thing to make work! The Callies and SCAT fit 100% better.

I'll admit to the above statement, almost 4 hours to get a Bryant into a LSX block..

Beautiful crank!
Whats the thinking on the leading edges of the couterweights favoring windage effects to a certain side? Noticed that the couterweights are tear dropped but looks like the leading edge is cut to force the atmosphere a certain direction, why's that? Why not have the apex centered and let the gasses flow on both sides evenly?
Thanks for the reply
