Talking Cam phaser bolt - Source?

Anyone got a source for a cam phaser bolt? 2007 escalade L92.

I found the phaser, installed the rev limiter, now just need a bolt.

Thanks!

Its a VERY hard thing to find. I've had one on backorder for two and a half months now. Theres a few different types of phasers out there as well as this info is still very much in the dark and I wonder if thats what makes it tricky to get your hands on a new one. They are a TTY fastener but they are technically known as a "valve" in GM part listings. I;ve seen a few posts where guys have re-used them on cam swaps and it seems to work. I might go that route myself if I cant get my hands on a new one soon.

Post up if you find a source with them in stock please.

Just so you know, on re install, I read an article where it had it at 48 Ft.lbs + 90 degrees which it said was a total of 154 ft lbs.

Trust me, it will snap at 100 Ft lbs on reinstall.

I havent checked the torque spec yet. Hope alldata has that info covered.

As a small aside it seems everytime I read about VVT phase I see different numbers published in regards to total advance/retard for each set up. Interesting...

Me thinks there is a LOOOOOOOONG way to go in fully extracting the most out of these things.

Anyways Im still on the hunt for a new bolt/valve so ANYONE???

Bueler??

Default Phaser valve

Finally got one at the GM dealer. You need a vin#.

If you called us up, you would not need a VIN . It is not JUST a bolt, but a "valve" as well. It is a little complicated. They were on backorder for a little while from GM. There is a difference in the part for the VVT and for the standard single bolt. FYI.

Cant wait to get this thing going though

Great. I am glad we got you fixed up. Sometimes Gm does some funny things.
