Default LQ9 marine engine

Is there any difference in a regular Lq9 long block than a Marine engine, Have a friend who's boat went Ka-boom, ruined block, looking at an Escalde,Lq9, Are they the same ??

I would say the same except you'll have to use all the boats external acc.

Call SDPC, they should know .

david is right. The engines will be the same but he's got to transfer all of the external boat stuff over to his "new" engine.

This topic of "car engines" vs "boat engines" regularly comes up on the boat forums.
