2008 escalade top end kit?
I am thinking about doing heads, cam etc.. on my escalade. It is daily driver so I am not looking for BIG cam but something that will make nice sound and make good power. Who makes best parts for this engine?
Thanks

You already have really good heads, but you can have them sent off to be CNC'd by one of many shops. I personally sent mine to Lingenfelter for CNC work, but WCCH and other offer to do the work as well.
Your engine is a VVT engine(Which is AWESOME) so you are limited to camshafts you can install with out smacking the pistons and valves. Comp makes a cam that gained 70hp without any torque loss, which isnt possible without have the advantage of the VVT. The cam is something like 222/236 .570ish lift, it was a cam, 918 valvesprings, and a phaser(VVT) limiter on an engine that was stock except for exhaust. I wouldn't bother doing anything to those heads. For what minimal improvements you're going to get at low/midrange rpm that you'll want with an escalade, I don't see where it's worth the expense. Cam, long-tubes & tune will get you in the 450 RWHP range.
