Default oil pressure issue

ok i bought a ls2 off a guy on here. he said it was in great condition and ready to go. so i used my ls6 oil pump off my 5.3 reused the black o ring and pickup. proplem is at idle oil pressure is 20 lbs. driving it gets to 40. pulled it apart and the oil pump spacer had let silicone get into the oil track and cause the hole in the pump spacer to be smaller than normal. also i was told all gm o rings are blue. anybody have any ideas. my oil pump may have 4000 miles on it. and when i get off in it oil pressure stays around 40 doesnt rise.

Do you think that the pump relief port is open? My oil pump o-ring was blue. I pinched my o-ring and the pressure would only go to 40 psi and then drop off to 0 when I let off the gas.
