Default LS-3 intake valves.

Are they worth switching to them.I saw a post that they weigh half of the stock L-92 valve.I am trying to keep spring pressure down.Street motor with a 6,200 R.P.M. chip superglued in the M.S.D unitThanks for any input.

I think it would depend what lift your cam is at. If it is a high lift cam I can see going to the LS3 valve being a good idea because you can keep better valve control. 2.165 is a heavy valve for a .650" lift cam IMO.

They are 20-22 grams lighter. No where near 50% maybe 20%

The lighter valves are a must unless you have a stockish cam

I want to run a short duration 600ish lift cam.Any thing less is a waste of the L-92"s breathing ability.Thanks

FWIW: I run 2.200 stainless valves in my WCCH Stage 3 heads with PAC 1521's, 3/8 inch PR's, YT Ultralights, Lunati link bar lifters all setup properly and I have no valve control issues. Matching your parts and seting them up correctly is the key to any reliable setup. I've run a cams with .660 lift and I now run one with .640+ LIFT.
