Gen III vs IV 5.3 block differences??
Gen III vs IV 5.3 block differences?? Basically, are there any? The older cast iron 5.3 block uses cast windows in a similar location to the ls1 blocks, under the cam tunnel, where as the L33 aluminum gen IV block uses the locations of the ls6 block, below the cylinders. Does the gen IV 5.3 iron block get the ls6 location?
