Default Help! bolt on block broke? Picture inside

Ok, Is this broke inside the block or is it that shallow, the shop gave it to me like this, im fixing it myself. Two others were stripped out also. if I have to drill it out, is there a certain depth i must keep?

6.0L block passenger side, second bolt above starter, THANKS!!!!!!!

Check the other bolt holes, from memory, they should all be around 1 1/4" (30 mm) deep.

Drill and use a ez out to try to remove the broke bolt, And for the stripped holes use helicoil to replace the factory size bolts , they are stronger than the factory threads. At work Ive seen 3/4" grade 8 bolts brake with helicoils and the coils not move

Throw some heat into the block around it too before you wrench on it. It looks like someone already tried that but just didnt give it enough. Heat the block only not the bolt
