Red face 3800 to L92

Alright, here it goes....my issue is, my 96 camaro is a v6 car. so i'm having to change almost everything. i came across a good deal on an l92 engine, ls3 intake, and 2010 camaro cam. all i have so far is the computer, complete harness (including injector harness), upgraded 4l60e trans which is said to be good for 650 hp, 2500-2800 stall, 07 escalade starter, walbro 255 lph fuel pump and kit. from what i've been reading on this site, i should be looking for mostly parts from ls1 camaro. I'm guessing the speedo tach cluster from ls1 would be the correct option. my main intention for the moment is to get this thing running. I'll deal with the exhaust, rear end, upgraded brake system and suspension...etc, as i get to them. i know i need to get all the drive accessories, but from this list of stuff that i already have, what else am i missing? (besides starting with an LS car to begin with. LOL) Also I'm learning as i go, so don't assume that i should already know. I've picked up quite a bit of info from this website and others, but i still feel like i'm at the tip of the iceberg. any help would be greatly appreciated.

your also going to need ls1 cooling fans and radiator also you need the complete underdash harness from a 99-up car to mate with the ls harnes.. Which harness and pcm did you get if its the l92 it probably wont work with the ls1 underdash harness. You'd need an ls1 harness along with injector adapters reluctor wheel converter box cam sensor extension and knock sensor extension harness and an ls1 computer tat could be tuned to run the ls3 which is essentially the motor you will have.

http://tacreationsusa.com/3_4_3_8_v6_to_ls1.htm this is a good starting suggestion here basically its all the parts listed here for an ls1 swap plus the injector adapters for the ls3 sty;e injectors along with the 58x reluctor wheel converter box cam extension and knock sensor extension harness plus the tune. You said you have an ls3 cam rt? So if your elminating vvt there are also some other internal things in the engine you will need.

my LY6 has about the same engine wiring as the L92 (very similar if not identical) and mine went into my 94 Firebird with NO real under-dash modifications. I'm using a t56 though, so that automagic might be somewhat harder to wire for but my swap works great...

the wire harness and computer came from schwanke. it is LS1 compatible. its an E38. By underdash harness, do you mean the harness that controls all the inside electronics...windows, door locks, etc... or just the harness or hook up to the cluster?
