Proper Stroker Operation for 408??? So the question i have for you builders an tech members is if you have a stroker motor with a heavy bottom end is it not suppose to be revved out to high rpms or is that a myth?

With a stroker, you have more motion and more friction given the same rpms because the pistons are moving farther. Technically, the top possible rpm would be diminished because of this, however the top end is usually the restriction on a properly set up forged engine.
With a top end designed to handle high rpm operation (lightweight, durable stuff, solid roller, etc), you can still rev these things pretty high.
I dont really have too much attention in high rpm top end stuff and i wouldnt be too worried about revving my 404 to 7500ish without changes.
