Default how much is ls2 worth?

got a buddy with a ls2 iron block with all the ls2 dress ups. the corvette heads and ls2 intake or might be ls6 intake so im guessing it makes 400 hp like the all aluminum ls2s. correct me if im wrong. dont think the motor has but 50k on it. can anyone tell me what this is worth? i dont want to get jipped.

No such thing as an Iron block LS2. They ALL came aluminum. IF its iron, its either a LQ4, LQ9, or L92. All of which can be had for cheap (block).

2nd that. There is no such thing as a Iron LS2.. I paid $300.00 for an iron block LQ9.. They can be had for pretty cheap..

L92 can be aluminum. All LS2s are aluminum

Some people refer to a LQ4 or LQ9 as a LS2. I would assume because of the 4.00 bore of the true LS2. IIRC... LS2 are gen IV. LQ4/9 are gen III. A LY6 would be closer to a iron LS2 as it is a gen IV. All L92s and true LS3 (not the LSx376) are aluminum.

If I am wrong on LS2s being a gen IV engine, nevermind. LOL
