Default LS7 Build Questions

Im looking for a few suggestions,

Any recommendations on a good LS engine builder in the Fort Worth, TX area?

What pistons and rings should I use?

What cam and springs?

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The car will have a manual 6 speed, it will be going in my 67 Firebird or a C2 Corvette. It wont be daily driven but I want to run pump gas and have it reliable enough to get in it any time and be able to drive it where ever I want without any worries. As far as horse power, as much as I can get with keeping it NA and reliable.

Thanks for the resonse.

Are you going to reuse the stock TI rods? If so, I would use a Mahle Power Pak piston to keep the cost down. They come with rings.

Then we have everything else you need also. Bearings, gaskets, etc. Even if you want to go to a steel rod, we can do that as well.

We need ALOT more info about what you have and what you want to make any recommendations! Do you have an LS7 that you're going to build-up, or is it a new project, etc? What do you have already as a starting point?
