I just bought a 2006 gto that is completely stock. Soon i want to do some major mods to it and i heard a procharger is the way to go. What else do i need to do before getting it. If anyone has one please help me out.

With a 36K engine, a D1 procharger would make a nice driver. While the complete kits are not cheap it is a lot easier to put on and will make a ton of very reliable power. Look at Brute Speed for pricing and options.
When you need more, forge the lower end, bring boost to 12 or so and you will have way more than enough power to trash the rest of your drivetrain.
