What rear end ratio and tire type do you have? I'll say 420's -450's for both HP and Torque

On an LS3 should be 420 ish. Slightly lower on the L99.

Im looking into a 373, but maybe thinking about a 4.??. The car is a 95 Impala ss, heavy thats why I was thinking the 4.?? gear to get it out the whole quick. This is more a street car, but will take it to the track every now and then. I do have some 17" m/t drag radials for it as well. Might look into a slck just trying to find a 15" light weight wheel with a 5x5 pattern. Any suggestions on more goodies for this car, and the opinions on the gear

I would stay with the 3.73 if running a 4l60E. The 4 series will get you out of the hole but on the street it's about useless. This is due to tire spin and running out of gear. The 1st gear of the trans x the rear puts you in the 12-1 for first gear. I would look at a torque converter with lock up and some long tube headers. The 17" MT drag radials should work great. I'm running the 18" and have run good #s
