I came across a deal on a custom grind cam, I would like to use in my 6.0 iron block build with a set of ported and milled Ls3 heads. The grind is...
232/234 .643/.598 lsk/xer 112lsa +2 109icl
Any input would be great... I don't know what it was ground for, but it did great in a cam/ bolt-on Ls1 camaro. I think it seems like it may work good on my build.
What do you guys thinks?
good......no good?????
Thanks in advance...

From what Brian at comp cam told me the Ls3 heads flow awesome on the intake side so he said they like to run some 10-12 more degrees of exhaust duration to expell all that air.
I will be going with a 247/259 ona 113lsa and .624 lift on both sides on LsL lobes but I might go with the Lsr's for a 416 build.
Let us know how your results turn out if you go with that cam.
GoodLuck

I've seen that... So, has anyone got bad results from a grind like this with Ls3 head? Or is it just less than optimal? I'm going for a high compression 370ci. for now. But, long term it's goin to get stroked with a custom grind...

Should be a great little street cam. It's very similar to the spinmonster LS3 cam which is a proven street cam on the vette forum. The intake is a 231, there is no 232 LSK lobe. In LS3 vettes the cam seems to make 490 rwhp on average.

I'd hate to waste the effort... So, maybe I'll just thro this in the ol' Ls1 with some mild ported 241's for now... poop!!! I'll shop around for the right cam for the 6.0 build...
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
