Default Another l92 heads/LQ9 cam question

Ok, so I've searched the forums, and google, but can't find the info for what I'm trying to do. Maybe I'm using the wrong search words. I'm looking at doing a LSx swap into my 95 Nissan 240sx the car is to be used as a DD with an A4 since I don't race or drift. I've already got:

LS3 intake with the 42lb injectors (if I remember right)
L92 heads off a G8
LS2 90mm DBW
LS3 water pump for my SR Radiator (I know I will have to pulley swap or pull it out a little for the LS1 accessory drive)

I'm also going to get a 2001/2002 LQ4/9 so I can keep the DBW without the Xlink adaptor. I've got my parts list on the computer of normal stuff to replace like timing chain, lifters, oil pump, etc. So, I think I'm good there.

My question is what cam should I look into to get around 400whp without going to much over. I also don't want much more than 400 since I don't want to replace my rear shafts and go up to another stage on the trans since I plan on using an A4. I know everyone wants a t56, but I don't race my car I just like to drive it and have the power when I want it.

I've searched around and keep finding lots of info on builds with those heads and intake that are over 450whp, but that's really more than I want.

Anyways, I hope I gave enough information and am looking forward to hearing back from everyone on the forum. If anyone needs anymore info from me feel free to ask!

You'll have to run a pretty small cam to be in the 400whp area. I don't really consider my cam to be all that big (231/236 .644"/.613" 111LSA), and it still made 418rwhp untuned, shutting it down at 5500rpms because of fuel pressure issues.

Cool I had read your thread before on your build and had eyed a cam of a similar profile. I should email texas speed since they offer one real similar to that and see what they say. Maybe some of the other guys in the forum will chime in with thier advice. I know it's unusual for people to try and keep it under a certain HP lol.

Mine is a 6.0 with L92 heads and L76 intake. I have a comp cam 228/240-115 lsa with .612/.613 lift. Mine made the numbers in my sig through an A4

Cool, even better. So, it looks like I can get where I want to. The big problem I've ran into with my research is everyone seems to want 450+. So, I appreciate all the input guys!

Mine is a Texas Speed cam. They make a few different cams spec'd for L92/LS3 rectangle port heads. I think I've got the biggest one that they have listed on their site for rectangle ports.
