Default input on an LS combination

Hello, this is my first post on here and I'm very new to the LS family of engines. I wanted to get some input on a motor I was offered for my 68 camaro. it's a LS2 stock short block, LS3 heads that have been milled .40 ,615 hyd. roller from texas speed, edelbrock victor jr.(i think), and a 930 pro systems, msd 6ls ignition. My main concern being, is this a somewhat standard build? How user friendly is the 6ls msd box? am I still gonna be on pump gas with the milled heads? is a 930cfm (4150 style) too much for on the street? any help would be great as I am new to these engines, I just took out a 406 to try and replace it with something more streetable.

238 342 duration @ .050, and like I said I'm more worried about street than strip, is this a somewhat normal combo/cam? I beleive texas speed makes the cam.

With heads milled to .040 over and that size cam good luck on ptvc...... you will have to flycut, even flucutting maybe a task for that ....

Get with a guy here name 3pedals... he is running a LY6 with lower comp but he ran 11.3 or 11.5 something like that, and using a carb setup with a comp LSL lobes 227/235 .614/.621 114+3 or +4 He ran 11.-11.53 with a 9.6 comp.... now you will have 11.0 to 11.1 comp, you should make some good power with decent driveability.....

remember lift does not kill ptvc, but duration and the duration of your orig cam will kill ptvc... I think on TSP website, they even tell you the biggest of there 2 cams you can use without running into issues.....

You really don't need that much cam, unless you want too.... You don't cam the LS3's like you do cathedrals....

sounds like a good motor, whats the static compression?you could put in a smaller cam.the other stuff will work great on the street.
