Default Engine build questions/Help please.

I am in the process of building my iron 6.0 I have a set of l92 heads milled .025
I have ls2 stock pistons and i am thinking of running and ls6 cam will i need to flycut or how big of a cam could i run with out fly cutting

You will probably be ok with the ls6 cam but with longer duration cam you will need to get more clearance on the piston valve relief for the larger l92 intake. Get some clay out and mock that sucker up...it is the only way to know for sure. Going by what some guy like me tells you on the internet is not smart. Good luck.

do a search. A ls6 cam would be a COMPLETE waste of time. L92 heads are picky partners as far as cams go. The average streetable cam is something along the lines of 226-234 .600 .600 113lsa - note the exhaust split.
