solid lifter guys help needed

Default solid lifter guys help needed

Think problem is the harland sharp part number 0851 adjustable tip rockers. geometry way off due to spring install height or are the rockers just not made for the stock ls6 head with morel solid lifters. You can shim the pedestal up by .129 and the center bolt will tighten then can adjust pushrod length ? Or mostly what rocker arms are you guys using on solid cam setups.

The Morel lifters do require a significantly shorter push rod (.050") by virtue of a different cup location. So the stock pushrod will not provide a good preview of the geometry to be established with shims.

What is your installed height?

That is true for the hydraulic roller lifters (I suppose), the solid lifters end up needing around inch longer pushrods.

i had to run 7.9 inch pushrods with comp solid rollers
