Default Quick Question for LS3

I forgot, how much power will an LS3 Block hold/produce running a 4.065 bore?

Is this a serious question? There are so many variables, that it wouldn't even be realistic to calculate an average with the information you just posted...

- What heads
- What cam?
- What intake?
- What power adder, if any?
- M6 or Auto?
- What is this all going in?

Answer those questions. Then maybe someone can give you a round about estimate at what you might make.

There are plenty of 600 rwhp S/C vettes using stock internals. Most don't go a lot over that, but everything I've seen suggests the block isn't the problem, its the need to forge the bottom end. If you goal is north of 800 RWHP, I'd call a place like HKE or Katech to see what they have found.

K wonderful. Thank you guys. I heard the Aluminum blocks won't hold more than about 800 crank hp. Browse through the thread that's says 415 CID shortblock. What do you guys think? All the info is listed in there. And with all I plan on doing I though I might surpass 800 crank hp. But now Im not so worried.
