What Motor setup to do...?? Ok i have an 02 SS that desided to shoot craps on me trashed everything but the crank pistons and rods everything else is pretty much worthless...
im wanting to go with the lq9 6.0 and maybe do the 370 i havent bought any parts yet waiting for tax returns but am hoping to have about $1500-2000 to play with. ive done some reading and thumbing around on here and have a few ideas but was just wanting to see what u guys thought and or would do id appreceate the input just to get different ideas
Goal: 500rwhp and 600 on spray but the juice can come later and street worthy its not my daily driver but i like to drive it to and from the lake and enjoy it its not a total drag car just a nice cruiser.
was thinking 6.0, have a set of worked 799 that i am getting from a buddy when time comes. i had the pollutar cam in my ls1 and really liked it i would like to put the same cam in this one or something close to it want to go big. have the ls2 intake already.
thats kinda the base im working with maybe let me know what u guys would do or think or even if this can be done with my budget at least get close thanks

just find a block normally i see them go for 300-500 and then buy a rotating assembly from tsp, and then have a machine shop clean the block, line bore etc, and put together. might be a little more than 2k
