LS2 swap questions
LS2 swap questions Hi All,
I will be performing a 2005 LS2 swap into my 2000 WS6 in the coming month. I am hoping this forum will provide me with enough information to get 95% of the way there. Feel free to state anything that I may have missed or useful knowledge that you might have.
First off, this engine was in a 1997 C5, so it already has the knock sensors re-located and crank sensor extension harness. It also has a slightly used Spec stage 2 clutch and flywheel. It also has LS6 heads and a LS6 intake.
I know I need an F-body oil pan, but do I need to swap the windage tray and pickup tube as well?
Can I use the clutch and flywheel?
I know I need to change the rear cover, but do I need to change the front cover?
Do I need to change the valley pan?
Do I need to re-route the PCV?
Do I need to re-route the coolant crossover?
What else do I need to complete this swap?
