g6x3 concerns ive done a search on this cam but still werey of it so far, is the g6x3 cam from lg motorsports still one of the best cams or is there better. i have and 89 iroc-z with an ls3/t56 combo im just curious about this cam.
besides valve spring and pushrod, is fly cutting still nessacery for the ls3?

IMO I'm a firm believer of custom grinds. For the price they charge for an off the shelf cam you would probably be better off with a custom grind. It'll match your combo specifically and your driving habits or needs.
The G6X3 is a good cam and will not need fly cutting on a stock LS3.

Once you start getting over 230 intake druation the ptv begins to get tight on a ls3. On a g6x6 the intake duration is 235. Some have had to flycut other have not. Texas speed has a 231/236 cam that always seems to work out great.
