No oil pressure

Default No oil pressure

New ls2 motor,built from scratch, assuming all oil passageway pugs are block as needed,i did pack the oil pump litely,iam getting my oil pressure from the valley pan fiting... I have spun the engine over with full battery charge about 20 seconds at time at leased 3 time ,any body had to prelube to get it primed???

I went through the same thing very recently and found that there is a small freezeplug that goes in the front of the engine, underneath the timing chain cover, that I had to install manually. Motor won't build oil pressure without it. Or the babrbell plug in the rear. Good luck.

Even if all the galley plugs are in place it can take longer than that to prime if your oil pump has lost/never had prime.

I did get a plug behind the front cover and the bar bell in the rear,where did you guys get your oil pressure for the gage??

thanks guys went back to garage and tryed it again,did not do any thing and pressure came right up!!!!scared me!!!
