New ls2 motor,built from scratch, assuming all oil passageway pugs are block as needed,i did pack the oil pump litely,iam getting my oil pressure from the valley pan fiting... I have spun the engine over with full battery charge about 20 seconds at time at leased 3 time ,any body had to prelube to get it primed???

I went through the same thing very recently and found that there is a small freezeplug that goes in the front of the engine, underneath the timing chain cover, that I had to install manually. Motor won't build oil pressure without it. Or the babrbell plug in the rear. Good luck.

I did get a plug behind the front cover and the bar bell in the rear,where did you guys get your oil pressure for the gage??
