Default 2000 ARP Rod Bolt Question

Has anyone here had any ARP 2000 rod bolt failures recently? Have read some older post onother sites that ARP had a problem with them. Just ordered some rods with them but didn't know about the failures. Thanks

Its not the bolts its the people putting in rod bolts without properly balancing the rotating assembly.....

Can it be done?....suuuuuuure........
Is it the best practice? hell no.........

But the interweb says you can just change the rod bolts, and then go out and turn it up baby to 6500rpms, hell, go for 7000.........

I have not heard of such, espeically not with correct useage.....

This is true to every word. ARP fasteners kick ***, but nothing is going to stand up to a crappily balanced rotating assembly at high RPM. Stuff just goes kerplop.

Thank for the info. That is true that the assembly technique is everything. Just wanted to check and see if anyone had such a problem with these fasteners.
