243/tfs 225 head questions

243/tfs 225 head questions I have a few questions involving both the stock 243 and tfs 225 heads.I was lgetting my stock 243 heads ready for long term storage and noticed a few things.
1- Do i have to remove and reuse the plugs in the back of the head where a cross over pipe could have been used or do tfs 225's already have a plug there?
2- On my stock heads, i noticed wear in the cast like my rockers were hitting the casting. Why was this happening? Is it normal? Will i have the same issue with my tfs 225 heads? Below is a few pics of the wear.
