school me on cams hey guys, im playing w the idea of doing a cam swap in my 05 gto. do to a tite budget im looking to buy used. anyway my question is which cams fit the 05 LS2? i know its a 3 bolt cam but will an LS1 cam work. is the cam sensor in the front or back and does that matter. the 05 LS2 has the 24X wheel like an LS1 and does that matter. im pretty ignorant on this subject and any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks
cam specs... Don't go asking just pay some one $25. that will give you a list of questions about your car, and have the cam design for your specific application, every nook and cranny within your cam will have something to do with some specks you gave him, he will ran it thru a software that will design the cam for you specific application, is the best spend money of all your investment, the guys running mid 8 secs nitrous index do it... and Patric Guerra is the go to man... He designed two cams for me this week...
