Default All Pro LSW heads- WCCH

427ci with twin 76s, powerglide and blind ambition. Aside from the combustion chamber, flow capability, and the slight physical height difference, are there significant differences between the All Pro LSW-2 and LSW-1 heads?

Will my sheetmetal intake that I had on my TFS 245s fit on the All Pros? Who is running the All Pro LSW-1 or 2s?

-Richard, if you are reading this I am a guy that Sean@ERL has spoken with you about. I work overseas and phone reliability is slim to none.

The 12-2 takes a different ex flange specific to that head, and the ex port is raised. The 12-1 will take LS7 type flanges, but the ex bolts are 3/8 american thread.

So it sounds like I'm looking at modifying my turbo headers and getting a different intake? Dang it.. Thanks for the reply Kurt.

The -1 heads will accept typical LS7 manifolding for intake and exhaust. The -2 manifold flanges are proprietary. Your intake will not fit up to the All Pro's. Sorry for that

I said it once before this week. It's hell going fast. I would have to change my flanges/turbo headers for the -1s so, Richard, if I buy the -2s where do I have the flanges fabbed or do you have someone that already has them stocked? Who would you guys recommend for an intake? I know a couple of guys locally that I can talk to about fabbing new turbo headers.

The -2 header flanges are available from SPD, and All Pro has a single 4 intake that fits them.

I did some internet snooping and found the SPD site. Appreciate the tip. I can't find any information on that intake manifold anywhere though.

Sounds like a hella bad *** combo with the names that are involved so far...hope you get the problems resolved. This is a 6-bolt head I am guessing judging by the hardware in this combo also....

All Pro is working on a cast 2 piece carb style intake for both the -1 and -2 heads. They are currently working on CNC programming to supply finished manifolds. There is no definitive pricing as they are not ready to sell. My best guess is 30-60 days for finished intakes.
As Kurt mentioned the exhaust flanges are available from SPD. They make 2 hole sizes and supply either mild steel or stainless steel flanges. I believe they have several options for flange thickness as well.

Interesting. I wonder how they will be priced in comparison to a fabbed sheetmetal intake? I'll talk to the guy that will be doing my turbo manifolds but I imagine we'll want a fairly thick stainless considering.

Richard- I've been emailing back and forth with Sean@ERL since they are handling this for me already so to prevent confusion would you mind getting with him or shoot me an email and I'll forward it to him so we can decide how to bill it? I'd like a set of the -2s and associated valvetrain (solid roller, 8K rpm "reliable") 1500+hp. My email is firefighterbrad at hotmail dot com.
