L92 heads vs 243 heads

i'm having my 6.0 cast block bored & strocked to 408 and i have a set of 243's and wondering if that would be ok or L92'S ---------------advice please-------------------it will have all forged components,i will be running 9.0 comp. and a vortech s/c -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------thanks gary

l92s.. best bang for the buck and flow quite well!

I got mine from LPE wil springs fro 1699.00, they were cheap and they will set them up and mill (if you need them to) and ship for free.

Best bang in my book too

could someone tell me the diff. between them,could i have mine ported !!!!!!!!! also i have the 243's so could i have them machined so they would be close to the l92's,the motor is apart and in the shop with the motor apart at this time -----------------thanks for any info-------------------gary

243's are a cathedral port and l92's are rectangular port ls3's are rectangular port as well. They use different intakes so they are not interchangeable.
