But Ive searched a few sites and there appears to be a new part number, 12602691 but still LS2 ?

Anyone know what changed, or is it the same block ?

Does a bare block come complete with main caps and cam bearings installed ? Any core plugs etc ? Oil gallery plugs ?

Not an ls2 but the ls3 blocks come with main caps and cam brgs but no core plugs including the small frt onefor the oil gallery
