HELP! Are pistons in the right spot! I have a friend who says that the pistons are in the wrong spot. I didn't put the motor together but i do know that the pistons are labeled L and R followed by a serial number.
He is saying that the dots on the outer edge of the pistons should all be in the same position. Does it matter where the dots go?

What does it matter when it goes 9s? I started it on Sunday, and it runs great! Has great oil pressure and no odd valve-train noise at all. It was an honest mistake that was caught and fixed.

He wasn't bashing, it is an honest question. If the motor was put together like that by a professional shop I would question everything that was done to the motor and would have completely pulled it apart, measured and checked the entire build. If it was done by one of your buddies and you are comfortable with what is done, no big deal.
