Need some input. Ok guys, need some imput on building an ls3. Now don't hate but I am planning on putting an ls3 in my 1984 944. I was wondering what cams would be good to put into it but I need a cam that doesn't create a more lopey sound to the engine. Something that would be mid-range, but the few that I have looked at all make the ls3 sound more lopey. I appreciate it.

You would need to go with a small cam. Something along the lines of a 220/220 or 224/224 but make sure you do it on a 114 or 115 LSA. These cams are small so they build lots of low end to midrange power. They will also be relatively quiet because they are small the LSA.
