Default LS2 Piston Height Problem / Piston number question

I purchased a used LS2 short block from someone here on ls1tech. Today I was working on getting the decks cleaned up and noticed that #2 piston does not match the deck height like the rest of the pistons do. Below are some pictures of the difference in piston height between #2 and #4 the difference in height is approx 0.04". Has anyone seen this before? What are your thoughts to this problem? Could the factory have assembled it wrong, or does it look like a bent rod?

Looking at the numbers on each piston I also noticed that the #2 piston has a different number then the other pistons. Does anyone know what these numbers mean?
Piston# - Etched number
1 - K065 17 81077D A5 108
2 - K063 12 81077D A5 110
3 - K065 17 81077D A5 108
4 - K065 19 81077D A5 315
5 - K065 17 81077D A5 108
6 - K065 18 81077D A5 315
7 - K065 17 81077D A5 108
8 - K065 17 81077D A5 108

I appreciate any advice you can tell me about this.

Sorry to go off your topic but I don't have the answer to your question. I am hoping, however that you will help with my question. Are the pistons above or below the deck surface and by how much? Thanks in advance.

On my engine all pistons except #2 are perfectly level with the deck. See second picture in the original post.

Bent rod, wrong rod, or wrong piston. Further checking required...
