ls3 418 windage tray

i am building a 418 ls3 and wanted to know if the 4.00 crank will hit the factory windage tray on a stock ls camaro/firebird oil pan. thanks in advance

Yup mine did, I. Just went to home depot and got 16? Zinc washers, measured my clearance and buttOned it up.

Yes sir it will. We recommend getting some washers like litle88 did. Usually a 5/16 size is what we have used in the past. You will need about .050" of space to make there are no contact issues.

if you want to go the expensive route, gm performance provides one for a 4" stroke also 19244049 is the part number

Dont forget to adjust your oil pickup tube for the added spacers.

Seems like I saw SLP had some specific for clearancing....Or someone did...
