Thinking of buying an LS3 I found a used LS3 I am interested in buying. It has a small cam and upgraded valve springs. The motor has 19k miles. The owner did a compression test on it today and the average number was 175psi. 180psi being the highest. But cylinder #5 was at 170psi. Should this be something I should be concerned with or is this not a big of a difference to cause any damage down the road?
what was the psi on cylinder #3 and #7? or better yet post em all if you remember. I think they have to be within 10% of each other if i remember correctly. So it seems fine if theyre all within range.

I remember him saying that it was a 6% difference of what 5% is acceptable. So it was a little out of range. All 7 other cylinders were 175-180 but #5 was the lowest at 170.

I have an LS3 out of my 2011 Camaro that I am selling....it only has about 3k miles on it. It is at Vengeance Racing in Atlanta. You can call em and ask them about any details but it has a Stage II cam in it and upgraded valve train as well as Melling oil pump and Katech timing chain. I would estimate about 500 hp at the flywheel with a set of headers and a tune.
