6.0 performance cause emissions problems?
it will be an iron block 6.0, forged pistons (either .010 or .030 over), everything else is stock from a truck untill i start upgrading. will have some f-body headers, duals with dual cats, and i will make an intake for it. probly 4l60e trans...dont like manual trans.
im doing this engine without putting in WAY too much money. so im asking if anybody has some input on some emissions issues with add ons, or possibly some add ons to help get some good HP to the wheels?

I'm curious what cam you used and did it pass the sniffer?

Did you make a couple attempts at the test or pass the first time?

but once I put on the CATs, added the alcohol and tweaked the mixture it went through the very first time. Unfortunately there isn't an exact science to this other than what I have described....make sure you have no more than a 50/50 mix (drain the tank and re-fill if you are uncertain) and then just use your tuning software and a wideband O2 sensor to measure your exhaust mixture. If you can't do this have a shop that does tuning close to you perform this for you. Hope this helps. Trending Topics
I was looking for the documentation on your page during this time but the links didn't work. Did I miss it somewhere?
