LS3 Pistons in 6.0 Iron block?
LS3 Pistons in 6.0 Iron block? Just wondering if anyone here has bored a 6.0 block .065 and used LS3 pistons.
The Engine Masters 425 inch Iron 6.0 in Popular Hotrodding was bored .060 and made over 600HP.
I've seen articles that mentioned up to .080 overbores on iron 6.0s.
I know about having the cyl walls sonic checked to see if they are thick enough.
Seems to me that cheap LS3 takeout pistons(seen several sets for sale) would give you a 374 inch fresh engine if you have a worn out 6.0 block.
