Default "TR TRuTorq" Level 2 Cam

Anyone have this cam and passed smog with it? General thoughts on it, thinking of getting this cam for my 05 GTO. 223/230 .609/.604 115 LSA

I am currently running this cam ... it's a nice daily driver cam ... passes where I'm located but so would any other cam out there because tail pipe emissions are not actually checked at my location. You might pose this question to TR and see what they say about it ... good luck!

I was shopping around for a cam that would let me break 400whp with only intake, exhaust and tune and stay CA smog legal. I spoke to...I don't remember his name, but he's the head technician over at Thunderracing. He couldn't gurantee me that I would pass smog, but in lesser words, he did...with that said, I never bought it because I had to spend money on other crap But he said that it would be the perfect combination for what I was looking for: choppy idle, strong torque with a flat torque curve, 400 whp+ and smog friendly

Oh, and you'll need 7.425 pushrods if I remember correctly.

Oh you have an LS2. Do the LS2s use different sized pushrods?

you're not going to get much "choppy" idle on a 115LSA, stock is like 118-120...
If you want chop, you need like a 112 or lower. Better yet, a 110+2/4 would really wake up the neighbors and add more torque down low.

I knew the word "choppy" would garner this response, understandably I guess I meant noticably more lopey than the stock cam. The exhaust duration on this cam is really good too.

I've seen CA cars with nothing but intake, headers, catted mids and exhaust not passing the tail portion (smog guy over looked the LTs). Not sure you could do it easily.
