Do you really want a LSX block with its core shift problems? It's just going to cause you problems unless you can get a good one. The only way to get a good one is to have it sonic tested before it's shipped to you which is almost impossible.
Hmmn, just wondering, in descending order... is it 502, 454, 427, and 372 (crate displacement)? Those seem to be the displacements I see most often. I know the 427 is 4.125"x4" but not sure about the rest. What does GMPP say is the recommended max bore? Anyways, kind of a cool display.
You can't see the tremendous difference in the cylinder wall thickness between #2 and #8 87silver?

Yeah, you remember now. A guy posted the same pic in a thread awhile back and I think you also chimed in about that was a pic at a performance show to show how much bore can be had from an LSX block and that its not a core shift picture.
OP, I'm not going to say that the LSX block doesn't have any issues but if it does its not going to be like that one in the pic. Erik@HKE and Kurt Urban have seen a few LSX blocks with issues but I think it was the earlier ones. You would want to PM them to see if they can can give you any info.
