SDPC pictures of the newly revised LSX block
Main features of this revision are:
-Improved metallurgy that results in upwards of 50% increase in tensile strength throughout the block.
-Reinforced deck with strengthened water passages and bolt holes
-Revised cam oiling passages that allow clocked cam bearings to optimize camshaft oiling in the highest performance applications with huge spring pressures and high loads.
