If your going with cathedral then go with TFS carnal! You won't be disappointed and you won't regret it. Or save the money and go Ls3 just my .2

Be safe over there -

If you want to keep your existing block, have you considered sending it to ERL for Superdeck treatment? You can get a very stout 427 short block back for $6600 and all your existing external parts are sure to fit. 4.125 inch bore opens up a lot of head options but you could use yours in the interim until you saved up even more $$. 600 rwhp is a real possibility with the right heads & cam - would really wake up the WS6.

Thanks man

I wasn't really aware that you could take an ls1 that far in displacement. I guess not for that reasonably priced anyways. This is now a definite possibility. I would looooove to be able to hit the 600 rwhp mark, but Im trying not to get too far ahead of myself lol

Any personal experience with this route or ERL in general???

Thanks..........thats pretty solid. Definitely alot harder than I will be pushing it. It will be extremely little drag use. Im looking for a really nice full weight street monster that will make you either *** or **** your pants, depending on whether you are like us or normal people.

Thanks for your service!!!

I am looking at getting an LSX 454 shortblock, and just using my 90mm TB/Intake and stock LS1 heads for now. Next year, heads and intake.

Not a problem, I enjoy what I do, and it is extremely helpful in funding my quest for all things awesome lol

And that thing will be a monster once you get a killer heads/intake combo
