LS-Dakota

If i wanted low end torque, plenty of horsepower, and a solid engine for my 02 dakota what ls engine would you recommend since iv been mainly looking at the ls1 and ls2's but any engine ideas im open too (for people who ask why i dont just look at a magnum or hemi, well i just think chevy engines are the sh*t)

You could probably find a junkyard 5.3 or 6.0 truck engine on the cheap that would be a huge improvemnt over what came in your truck.
