[QUOTE=Go On 3;16312656]there really is no down side to a 6.0, i run cnc ls6 heads but you could run ls3/l92 cheep and make good power, just remember dyno numbers are for the birds. how it runs on the street is where it really counts.
put down 440/450tq (superflow dyno)with a small cam(228/230) and fueling issues hoping to be back in a few days to make closer to 460hp area, im real happy with the tq numbers tho
[/Q
what intake are you running? and what lift an lsa is your cam?

I've got a LQ4 w/Ls3 top end, 231/236 .641/.615 tsp cam, .040 MLS gaskets, ARP bolts everywhere, and full bolt ons. 3600 yank, 4.10's, and it pulls so much harder than my LS1 ever did. I'm also on a base tune for break in. I'm hoping for the 430-450hp range on motor. North of 600 on nitrous. Should know in a couple weeks. I also only have about $1500 in mine after selling the LS1 and misc. parts.

i had an LS1 and an LS2(Camaro and GTO respectively).the LS2 was stock, just a CAI and tuned with HPTuner software.i liked the LS2 better, more grunt everywhere..in fact,my next toy will have a iron block 6.0,unless i find an LS1 really cheap..
