On the L99 engine with VVT and AFM, we prefer to get rid of the AFM and keep the VVT technology! We offer the DOD Delete kit and cam packages for the VVT combos!

Let us know if we can help!

That is what I would do.

can you elaborate on how the kit works to delete DOD? also what would be required to delete VVT? (not thread jacking just thought others as well as my self might want to understand it a little better)

also OP $600-$1,200 labor

To delete DOD and Vvt you need to remove the heads and replace the the lifters with the regular Ls7 lifters, it's only 8 of them but I'd just replace all 16. You'll need to change the 1 bolt cam to a 3 bolt and get a 4x cam sprocket, Ls2/3 valley cover, Ls2/3 front timing cover and of course tuning it out, that's what coves off the top of my head.

I have read that some believe it is better to delete all VVT/afm with a large cam on the ls3's it just makes everything work better & less troublesome .Anybody else have input on this with a BIG NASTY cam for N/A .
Thanks for all the input ,I figured around $900 on labor on the Cam install was not bad but what if they do the heads & lifters ....how much more ?

Quick Reply: Avg $ of cam install in 2010 camaro ?
