Thumbs up new 408 build
heres the start of my new build,a summit 6liter block,looking to get 550 whp plus a 250 shot of giggles!!

the summit 6l lsx block is already bored .30 over so with my 4.0 crank and 6.125 rods and new 4.030 pistons it makes a 408 i have wiesco pistons coming soon.

im gona reuse my eagle forged crank and eagle h-beam rods from my 383,the new shortblock should be together within a few weeks im hoping.

im thinking afr ported 225s a custom cam around 246 262 615 595 114+4,maybe a fast 102 intake not sure yet im looking for 550 at the wheels.my previous 383 made 463 at the wheels with afr 205s and a 234 242 609 600 112 cam

Did you check the cylinders to make sure they are what they are supposed to be? Deos who ever bores them for Summit use the same fasteners your going to use and the correct tq plate?

update...the eagle forged crank,h-beam rods,wiesco -8cc pistons are being balanced and ill have the shortblock back in a week.ingram race engines is doing the shortblock!! the custom cam is being made thru comp cams the following specs 247/255 624 624 114.

Thumbs up shortblock balanced and ready for assembly
oh yeah!! just need to get bolts to put it on the engine stand so i can install the cam,timing chain,oil pump etc,sorry pics arent the greatest.
