Default Yet another cam help thread

The build is basically ready to get going, aside from one tiny detail.... The camshaft. We were going to use the qm black mamba with the stock block but now with the bigger cubes i feel itll be a tad small. The car is going to be a high comp e85 454 lsx that still will see the street often. Not looking for necessarily "like stock" drivability but not anything outrageous. Goin for the most power we can make with a still streetable drive. Here's the mod list again so far:
454 LSX block (high compression/e85)
Brodix BR7 273cc heads milled .60
Camshaft = ___________?
Trick Performance titanium intake valves
Manley severe duty stainless exhaust valves
BTR .660" Dual valve spring kit
Ported FAST 102mm LSXR intake
Polished NW 102mm throttle body
GM Ls2 fuel rails
60# injectors
Halltech MF107 superbee w/ beehive heat shield
Kooks 2" longtube headers
Kooks offroad x pipe
Corsa C6Z catback
NGK TR6 iridium ix spark plugs
MSD 8.5mm spark plug wires
Lingenfelter 160* thermostat
ARP head bolts
New GM gaskets all around

Thanks again and again guys! I'm just ready for this thing to be done! Haha.

Have you thought about having one custom grind by Pat G or another reputable builder.....

I would only go a few degrees more on intake duration compared to the QM cam, but I would go 8 degrees more on the exhaust. I would keep the overlap the same as the QM cam.

With 1.8 rocker arms I like the Comp LXL intake lobes and the Extreme RPM for LS1 exhaust lobes.

Hope this helps!

It's probably going to be a custom grind, was just seeing inputs from others to get more information to use
